Resignation

  1. this one made me cry
as if she were carrying my tears
    in a bucket and
as my luck would have it
    I had already spent
    too much time bleeding here
as all the leaves now know
what my heart does in thick vines
hidden in weaves of Summer time
    when words fail sound and
    a sigh completes
    every sentence
    thereafter

  2. So sorry I have not commented for a long while. This is absolutely perfect Diana.Everything about the photo and words speak of surrender and acceptance of her fate. I love this. Thank you for this the lovely, peaceful post as I get ready to go to sleep. xoxo
