Beacon

at night
when the rain
shines like the sun

[ Poetry by another favorite wordsmith, CoyoteSings. He paints sprawling landscapes and the beauty in a raindrop with his micropoetry. Fall into his words here at CoyoteSings micropoetry. ]

Tall and straight
Punching through the tree tops
High above the noise
It stands alone
Feeding on the passing clouds
Home to nesting things
It searches the skies
Knowing its purpose
High above the stoney ground
It stands alone
Ready and waiting

[ Poetry by Joanne M Firth.  Joanne writes from the heart and with her heart.  Please take a moment and stop by her home at Words. She deserves many more readers. ]

lone vigil
witnessed only by night
when soul’s prayers rose
in shower of His blessings

[ Poetry by jmbhatt. Jyoti is an angel who visits these pages almost on a daily basis, kindly sharing his poetry with my photographs. And for that I am so grateful. ]

the tern
this surfer of currents
slow wings time
says digging in
like the wind does
is every letting go
into where we bare
ourselves in every
language humanity
has ever spoken
and forgotten
while the animals
know every night sky
is just another womb,
just more drying limbs that
know light fuses
between each heavy desire
and the silent
strengths of every smile

[ Poetry by blindedbeatpoet. Edward’s poetry is all river tides and passion, dark places and redemption and screams to be read aloud. Light a path to his words at the blind lantern. ]

Your tower
all radio static
cannot climb
your frequencies
afraid of heights
I, darkness
barred from your light

[ Poetry by FracturedPhrase aka Uneven Stephen. Steve is another favorite poet whose work is often mind-bending (in only the best of ways) but my latest favorite pieces are readings by his 5 year old 🙂 Do yourself a favor and stop by Fractured Phrases. ]

black lace penumbra
of your voice
a veil
across this wet night

[ Words by me. ]
