Wax and Rain

the wax and the rain
trip over fate
erase a limb-ed destiny
tell yourself to climb
vine flower heady
you’re ready to spill
what gravity wants
to shape you with

I’ve collaborated with Edward Rinaldi on over 120 of my photographs. Each one has been a perfect kiss of mouth to eyes. Edward’s poetry is a blend of unadulterated sensuality, biting commentary on the frailties of humanity and everything else, in between. If you’ve read him, you know what I mean. If you haven’t, go here to the blind lantern, but hold on tight.
